Boldly going...

I got my Star Trek fabric in the mail last week and I started on the mom quilt this weekend. Here are some photos:

I've still got to make about 18 more blocks. I really hope I don't run out of fabric.

I'm thinking about what to do on the back. I think I want to create a communicator stencil using this tutorial. Elizabeth Hartman used this technique to great success here. Maybe a big communicator and a few smaller ones.. ? hmmm...
